This is Pompette on rue des Vinaigriers, a ten-minute walk from Canal Saint-Martin and about the same from Gare de l'Est, and it's the venue that used to trade as Gravity Bar before someone decided the tapas kitchen deserved billing on the sign.
The result is a hybrid the 10th arrondissement needed and didn't quite have: a cocktail bar that also feeds you properly, open late three nights a week, with a room small enough that the evening feels curated rather than herded.
