The Cocktail Bar That Won't Take Your Reservation

The first thing to know is that you cannot book the cocktail bar. Not on Superb, not by phone, not by knowing someone. Tables open first come, first served from around 22:30–23:00, and everyone standing at the bar at that moment is doing the same maths about who gets one.
The address is Via Cappellini 25, north of the Duomo in the streets behind Centrale. Under the same roof there's Tapa Bistrot, which does take reservations, and which handles the eating side of the evening from 18:00. Two operations, two access systems, one door — and the harder half is the one without a booking button.
The cocktail bar refuses to book a table, which is either the best thing about Moebius or the reason you eat somewhere else.

One door, two operations. The Tapa Bistrot side runs on reservations from 18:00 and behaves like a restaurant — people arrive on time, sit down, order food. The cocktail bar behind it runs on a different clock entirely, filling slowly through the evening and only really becoming itself after the dinner shift starts to hand tables back.
A Milan cocktail crowd that knows the drill: locals in their late twenties and thirties who understand that the door doesn't open a table for them and treat the wait as part of the night. Not a tourist room, at least not before midnight — the walk-in-only policy filters for people who've either done their reading or been told by a friend. That makes the volume manageable and the pace slower than a bookable room the same size would run.
Signatures are €16, classics from €14 and mocktails €12 on its own menu, and no cover or service charge is published.
This is a late room, and it is the best version of a late room when you commit to the schedule it keeps. Come back on a Friday around 22:45, take dinner at Tapa Bistrot first if the 14-day window is open, then move to the bar side when the tables start turning. The night to skip is the early one — anyone arriving at 20:00 expecting a cocktail-bar atmosphere will find a room still warming up, and anyone who cannot wait until 22:30 for a table should book dinner instead and stop there.
